Applications
For industrial applications that require a tough, corrosion-resistant finish. |
Instructions
Preparation: Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt, rust, loose paint and chemical contaminants. Scuff sanding may be required on very smooth surfaces ex. thoroughly cured, hard or gloss coatings to maximize adhesion. |
Application: Use when temperature is above 10°C (50°F) and humidity is below 85%. Surface temperature must be between 10-38°C (50-100°F). Protect surrounding surfaces from overspray. Use a primer on bare or rusted surfaces. Shake can for one minute after mixing ball is heard. Hold can 10-14” from surface. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs. |
Dry & recoat times: Recoat within one hour or after 24 hours. Allow more time in cooler temperatures. |
Clean-up: Wipe off tip before storing. Remove wet paint with xylene or mineral spirits. |
Clogging: If the valve clogs, twist and pull off spray tip and rinse in a solvent such as mineral spirits. Do not insert any object into can valve opening. |
